About IAM
Mission, Vision, Goals
We believe everyone deserves the chance to live a long and healthy life. That’s why we focus on removing barriers, sharing trusted vaccine information, and partnering with communities to protect health in Michigan.
Mission
Our mission is to reduce the prevalence of vaccine-preventable diseases in Michigan by eliminating common barriers and ensuring equitable access to essential vaccines and evidence-based information. By promoting vaccine access, providing education, and strengthening collaborative partnerships, we strive to ensure that all residents have equal opportunities to live long and healthy lives, ultimately enhancing public health and strengthening our communities.
Vision
Our vision is a future where all individuals in Michigan have equitable access to vaccines and scientific information. We will work to increase vaccine literacy and confidence, work across cultures, professions, languages, and partnerships to be a trusted community resource, and raise immunization rates in the state. We envision a community where everyone, at every age, is able to have full access to vaccines as a means for improving their health and the overall health of the state.
